Happy Tuesday everybody! Today's fish of the day is the monsoon fairy-wrasse!
The Monsoon fairy-wrasse, also known as the Cirrhilabrus hyroxerus is a shallow dwelling fish living in the Eastern Timor Sea (for those of us more geologically challenged as myself, that is south of Australia)
At a small size of 5 or 6 cm this species can be found at a depth of 20 meters (about 66 feet). They are, like most other bottom feeders, animals that sort through the sand to find food
